Shawn is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Polytechnic Institute at Purdue University. He is the course director for the second largest enrollment course at the University, he teaches his own design thinking courses, and mentors other instructors. He is also a Ph.D. student in the Learning Design and Technology program at Purdue’s College of Education, focusing on student design thinkers’ use of generative AI in their design endeavors.
